Congrats to our MMUN (Montessori Model United Nations) Team for their efforts in Rome! This year, two LGMS students, Santiago and Gabriela were elected by their peers to help present their committee resolutions at the UN FAO (United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization). As part of the conference, students also performed, “In My Blood” by Shawn Mendes, honouring an artist from our home country.
Prior to the conference, students toured the island of Capri and Pompeii. After the conference, students enjoyed visiting sites in Rome including the Colosseum, Vatican City, the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and Trastevere.
